The Hospital Group: Data Breach of Cosmetic Surgery Patients

A recent data breach occurred when an unauthorised third party accessed the IT systems of Transform, part of The Hospital Group. The hospital specialises in cosmetic surgeries and consultations and the hacker group REvil claim that they were able to obtain “intimate photos of customers”.

A pop-up notice asking users to accept the updates or to delete their accounts was shown to users.
