Health and Safety/Medical and Occupational Assessments

We can deal with mandatory Health and Safety Executive requirements overseen by experienced
Health and Safety Managers  (IOSH, NEBOSH, GIFE).

From the start of employment the employer needs to be sure their employees are fit for the job.

We can arrange pre employment medical screening to determine whether a potential employee is fit for the role. This will prevent future sickness absence, loss and nuisance to the employer, and possible litigation. It is important that whoever interprets the questionnaire is an ‘Occupational Health Professional’ who can identify any potential problems and advise of any restrictions that may be required.

Unfortunately many UK employers have problems with sickness absence, much of which can be avoided by knowing employees’ health status and ensuring that their health does not suffer as a result of their role. Occupational Health can facilitate a timely return to work in the safest possible circumstances to prevent repeat absences. In addition the malingering employee can be dealt with in a legally and medically compliant manner.

Small Business HR Service – UP TO SIX EMPLOYEES

Running a small business is hard work. It takes time, effort, commitment and dedication. We can give you a helping hand – peace of mind and certainty. If you employ 6 members of staff or less (including employers, workers, directors and partners), then we can help you. For just £18 a week we will take care of not only all
your personnel issues – but we will be there to help you with all legal queries of a business nature – employment and beyond.

We will ensure your HR documents are legally compliant, provide you with contracts, advise on training, and keep you updated on new legislation that may affect you. We provide a fully indemnified service should a matter get to the tribunal stage (though we would hope to nip it in the bud prior to then).

Solicitors will be available for you 24 hours a day 365 days a week. You will have a name and contact. We are not a faceless service but personal to you and your business.
